Does CT ban any handguns like Mass?

I can't find a legal do on the CT DOJ about any ban of handguns, but I do not want to assume that it does not exist because I can't find it. Knowing the gun environment of the northeast, I want to make sure as I am about to overnight a Sig P228 to an FFL holder in CT for transfer to a CT resident.

Is there a banned handgun list in CT and if so where can I find it? Thanks.

Fairly sure the only type we ban are those that qualify under the AWB...which fortunatly isn't overly many standard handguns. Link here: http://www.cga.ct.gov/2005/pub/Chap943.htm#Sec53-202a.htm you'll have to scroll down a little to get specifically to the handgun section.

There are no handgun restrictions, except that you need a carry permit to buy them.

Most AR-style pistols are banned, thanks to the restrictions defined in that law.
