Does gauge matter for Mossberg 500 stock and pump?

I have a westernfield 550 (mossberg 500 renamed i guess, ) its in 20 not 12 however, will regular 12 gauge aftermarket stocks and pumps fit on it?

Kinda. I have a 20ga 500 with a 12 ga stock on it. Fits fine for function but the 12 ga reciever is slightly larger and the wood is cut to match reciever width. So yes it will fit and work fine, but it's not a perfect fitting swap.

Same with the forends and you have to know the length of the action tubes well
