In Colorado where the plains meet the mountains.
I recently acquired an old 20 gauge Mossberg 500 from my father. It has the pistol grip and after reading many of the threads about that type of grip I have decided to change it out for a conventional stock. Looking at the Midway and Midsouth catalogs it appears that many of these aftermarket stocks are for 12 gauge only. I also checked the Mossberg web site and they show stocks for 12 gauge and .410 but not for the 20 gauge. I would like to know which stocks will install directly on the 20 gauge. If fitting is required to install the 12 gauge stocks what is involved.

mossberg has to sell these stocks because every mossberg 500 bantam youth shotgun comes with a certificate for a half off full size stock.

The Mossberg site lists a 20ga wooden stock as an accessory, but should also list all other type stocks for the 20ga. under the parts available in customer service section. (ordering by part number off the parts list in the owners manual)

Often a butt stock can also be bought off ebay as well.

Hogue also makes stocks for the Mossberg 500 series...give them a call to check on specific stocks for the 20-Ga
