Just curious as to how many deal with guns on a daily basis because of the job.

I'm also into hot rods (mine is a rat rod '31 Ford) and on those forums I see that a lot of people work in machine shops or weld shops or auto body's, so I didn't know if that were the same in the gun world.

PS Im an electrician, but I try not to think about it once I'm home, lol

Well I manage a gun shop/pawn shop, so I wear a gun 24/7 and I also am a FFL dealer, plus class 3 weapons dealer. I basicly live guns day and night!!

I start my new job working in a gun store Monday. With in the next few weeks we'll begin assembling our own brand of AK, so yes, my job FINALLY involves guns. I've been managing restaurants since I left the Army in 2007. This is going to be a nice change.

Captain, Armor

Licensed Armed Security Officer, formerly at a refinery complex, now security at a City Hall.

Office worker for an Arby's franchisee.

Nope. I used to work in a pawn shop though, but that was for less than a year.

When someone gets shot they show up at a hospital I work at! ;) Not what you were looking for tho I think ;)

LEO 25 years, get tired of carrying it but have to keep the tools close by!

Retired Marine, M-16, 60, .45, M9, SAW, 50 cal, M4, and others. Just nothing like the smell of CLP and burnt gun powder in the Morning. Dam I miss it.
Last job was at a Motorcycle dealership, It was not required but I opened and closed most of the time so I carried. The owner and manager were gun friendly so not a problem. Nobody could see it so every once and awhile someone would ask. My answers ranged from "are you serious", "you have to ask", "you know what they say about stupid questions?" or "what do you think?"
Would like to work in a gun shop some day but might not ever take a paycheck home.

Some time in the military, just wrapped up a tour as an armed DA Civilian in Afghanistan. If I get what I'm going for, the next job will be all office/briefing room and most likely unarmed; however, if given the option I'll pick up an M9.
