The guy in the Hawaiian shirt looks to also be the guy towards the end of the video in a plain white t-shirt. I agree that it looks to me like it's just the way he handles the recoil.

I don't see any doubles. If anything he's trying to "jerk" the gun back down to combat the recoil at the same time the pistol is recoiling back.

Result appears to be the pistol flies up, he grips it tighter which causes it to flip at a sharper angle making it look like it fired twice.

I hope that made some sense, just what I am seeing. I could be wrong.
