Double Tap .380 short barrel velocity

Some years ago I chronographed double taps 95 grain 380 loads. I have since lost that data. Do any other 380 shooters have independent velocities for double tap 95 grain cartridges. The Ammo Quest data seems too fast for a short barrel. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. I have other D.T ammo in different calibers and they are either faster or (usually) slower than the posted velocity. Thats why I hoped some had run their .380 ammo through a chronograph.

Helps to know what barrel length they used to test vs the pistol you used to test. Your results could be slower for a reason.

Same length, 2.75" for my LCP and their test guns were a LCP and a kel tec at 975 fps and a 3.5" bersa pistol at 1080 fps. Seems pretty hot for a non +P.

.380 has a +P rating now?

No SAAMI recognition of .380 +P but a few manufacturers label their loadings as +P.
