Hey, is there any dovetail adapters for picatinny rails? Trying to mount a globe front sight on a rail and I need some kind of adapter. Yes, I know that JP makes one, but I think that it's too tall for my application.

Thanks,

If you are wanting to mount a globe front sight, you want that as far down the barrel as you can get. It will give you a longer sight radius and a better sight picture. I do know the Lipski mount will attach nicely and works quite well. What kind of rear sight are you going to use?

I should hace sai that this is for a woods rifle, I will be mounting this sight to try to duplicate an rifle length sight radius on an AR, which if I remember correctly is 21.5".

Therefore I need at least a 13.5" handguard + 8" Remmy 700 SA = 21.5"

I will probally be mounting this on a tubegun.

I know your probally thinking "*** is this guy doing, he's a complete idiot, just mount the (€*+=~$@) sight on the (#?%#*+£) barrel."

But I'm just different.....
