DPMS .308 mag makers??

Who makes DPMS .308 compatible mags? Are armalites the same? I know my FNAR mags are not interchangable. Is there a good third party manufacturer? Magpul pmag 308???

Armalite AR-10 Magazines are NOT compatible with the DPMS .308. They are a proprietary design.

As for makers, there are not a lot.


DPMS 19 round
CProducts 20 round
Magpul .308 PMags
Knights Armament


Good luck finding any high capacity in stock. Magpul isn't shipping yet.

I am pretty sure the FNAR magazines are a proprietary design.

Right now you have CProducts and DPMS.

POF is building a 25rd mag that will fit and it is due out in april.

The SR-25 mags will fit into the DPMS, but they are a bit expensive and tough to find.

C Products is a joke...I ordered mine in November and I'm still waiting on them. Larry just replied to an email I sent to him and he says no more than 2 weeks...I've been hearing him say that to me for the past 4+ months.

Many people here saidI was nuts when I paid $65 a piece for my DPMS 308 19 round mags. I am glad I did now.. I would be lucky to find one for $100. I am searching for one or two more, but for the prices, I'll just do with the ones I have.

Go to the C-products website and place your order there. The mags are first-rate, fit DPMS perfectly, cost less than $30/each. You will have to wait about 2 months but they will take your order and they WILL ship you the mags. I know first hand.

I recieved my 8 C Products Mags a week or two ago also ordered in Nov (go to their website and order the 308 mags). They fit snug almost too snug in the mag well. I'm sure they will function fine but have yet to be tested.

I ordered my CProducts magazines on Dec. 20. I think I got them 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Mine were really nice, and they aren't too snug in the receiver. Stand by for function test. My rifle is still in parts due to the project work on it.
