My 24" DPMS 308 is one helluva tack driver. Way more accurate than me. I've been looking at their AP4 308 now. I have had NO problems with this gun. The 20 round mags I have work great. I looked at the Armalite and Bushy but went with the DPMS Only one that offered it in this configeration, 24" S.S. cryo accurized fluted barrel.

Anxiously awaiting my DPMS 308. I ordered the 24 inch stainless fluted with the A3 upper, ergo grips, single rail gas block, and JP trigger for $1149 out the door. It's a gift from my wife for Christmas.

I was partial to Bushmaster when I got my first AR, but honestly I think DPMS is a better deal overall. Their 308 series is really great, I have the 308T and have had no issues or jams with it, very accurate.

I just bought my first DPMS LR 308. I have not recieved yet, I hope I will be happy! It has a lot of extras!
24" SS Barrel, Adjustable Stk., Chrome Bolt, Tri pod, Leupold Optics, Just to name a few. Has had other things incl. Upgraded trigger etc. I will post more when I play with it. It Seems like I have made a good decision. Optics and all slapped $2K though! The optics alone were almost $900 on this rifle incl. the mounting system.

Has any one gotten there LR 308 from DPMS recently? I ordered mine in mid April and was told 16 weeks at that time and today was told they started there April orders about two weeks ago.
