I have a sw40ve that I hated up until tonight...the trigger was absolutely awful, as anyone who's owned one can attest. I got that taken care of and took it out tonight, and this is no joke - my groups are probably 75% tighter now.

Before, I shot so bad with this pistol that I couldn't even tell the sights were off. Now that it's shooting well I can tell it's shooting quite a bit to the left. It has plastic non-adjustable sights in a dovetail on the slide. Is there a way to drift them to the right without damaging them? Any tips? I've drifted metal sights before, but I'm scared of ruining these.

The following is from the Sigma owner's manual.

The rear sight is adjustable for windage only. To adjust, move the rear sight in the direction you wish the group to move on the target.
For example, if the group should move to the right, move the
rear sight to the right. Use a brass or plastic drift or punch to prevent marring the rear sight. If the rear sight has a set screw,
loosen the set screw prior to moving the rear sight. Tighten the set screw after the sight has been adjusted to the desired position.

Hope that helps.

Well, mine doesn't have a set screw. I guess I was just chicken....I finally got the nerve up tonight to give it a good whack, and it slid over nicely. I was worried about messing up the plastic, but apparently I was just being too timid.

Before you move your sights, try tightening your grip ont the gun a little or try a little more trigger finger. also look a the rear sight to see if it is actually appears to be centered on the slide.

I'm thinkin' hard about one of these for a truck gun. What did you have done to the trigger exactly? The one I rented wasn't too bad, but as a rental probably had thousands of rounds through it...
