Does anyone currently produce a Drilling (shotgun/rifle combo) in a quality hunting firearm? 12 guage and .308 or 30/06 would be ideal.

Why buy new, when there are some fantastic pre-war drillings out there for sale?
You'll probably have to settle for 16 gauge rather than 12, and 8x57 rimmed instead of 30.06, but that's not much of a hardship.
Search the internet a bit, you'll find some great guns in the $1500 to $3000 range.
www.gunshop.com has a few drilling and German gun nuts you can talk with.
