DSA STG58 FALs; are these kit builds

Just trying to figure out the details about DS Arms STG58 FALs. I'm meeting a guy tomorrow to buy his "new/unused" STG58. This might be a dumb question, but does DS Arms just make the barrel and receiver and put them onto used parts kits? Or, is the whole rifle new? If it is on a kit, is the kit a used one? Is the stock going to have dings and scuffs, etc? The ad on their sight for them has me confused as it seems to read that the only new parts are the barrel and receiver. I can't figure it out from what the info I'm gathering here on the Inter Webs.

DS Arms STG-58s are built from surplus Austrian parts kits, so US receiver plus, possibly, other parts (I think they imported their StG-58 kits before the ATF decided that foreign made rifle barrels were a sign of the apocalypse, so US barrel may not be guaranteed).

ayup...they are in-house receivers and Austrian kits made up of parts from used rifles. that's why you're saving so much over their rifles made from new parts
