Where's a good web-site for duck hunting? I can't find anyone in my area to take me. I have even ran a thread on the Florida Shooting Network but no dice. I don't blame them, I don't like hunting with people I don't know either. It's just not popular around here. oh well.

One of my old hunting partners lives in Ft.Meyers. When I was down there a couple of years back visiting, he said the only thing he missed about Calif. was the duck hunting. We had more than enough to do there though, we hunted pigs and cought black tip sharks. All I can tell you is Arkansas or Louisianna. If you get out toward Red Fish Pass try hooking up to those sharks.:D They are soooooooooooo much fun to fight and make great table fare.

I was born and raised right outside of Baton Rouge. My brother owns a camp in Bay St. Louis, MS. (Mississippi gulf coast west of Gulfport). We would fish the channel between Cat and Ship Islands and caught DOZENS of Blacktips. They would literally chase each other while one was on the line. It made you sit down in the boat:uhoh: . You're right! Good eating:p . There's lots here in P'cola too. They are very common on the Gulf Coast.

I know duck hunting is common back home(LA) and I just assumed that it would be here too, guess not :( . I know they do it outside of Mobile, Al., and in the central panhandle. Oh well, is there anyone around Baton Rouge, La looking for a partner :) .
