You should be aware that the barrel metallurgy is good for maybe 10,000 rounds. IF you're lucky.
My opinion: hell no. Go shopping for used, with the checkout procedures printed out. You won't spend any more, and you'll get a far better gun. Even going Brazilian (Taurus/Rossi) is a better idea (esp. later model blue or stainless Tauruses, which are quite good).
I take it the range sometimes and it goes bang all the time. For the price you could get something well known but id suggest it for no more than 200. I was not aware of barrel metallurgy, if it is flawed as Jim said dont buy. Im not an expert. Oh and another thing for some reason the barrel says 38special in bold print and 357 magnum in itttybitty letters, go figure?
I have two Windicators and i think they are fine revolvers.I dont worry about a gun whos barrel may ONLY last 10,000 rounds!!!
$260.00 is overpriced however.I got both of mine for $200.00 each. www.eaacorp.com
