I have a EAA Witness 10mm made by Tanfoglio. Also a Glock 20SF. I prefer to shoot the Tanfoglio. It fits my hand better. For those not familiar these are modeled after the CZ75. It is very accurate. I don't see much about these pistols. I am interested in other folks experiences. Best wishes

When I bought my Hunter witness, it was seriously under priced. They still are, IMO. I shot an entire season of two gun (rifle out to 25y pistol out to 15y). I did head shots only and only used this pistol against rifles on the rifle stages. And I won a lot of “rifle” stages :)

Loved the way the Witness Poly felt in my hand and functioned well. Wasn’t as accurate as I wanted so I ended up selling it. At the time I had a Gen 3 G20 along with the Witness and stuck with the Glock over it.

I have the 10mm Wonder finish - and it’s had to rack the slide. But, I’ll send it out for optic cut, will fix the racking problem

The EAA 10mm and the .45 have some history of cracked slides and frames.
Some people attribute that to Tanfoglio using under powered recoil springs, and others to the cast steel slides and frames.

Best advice if you buy one is to bump up the recoil spring one pound.

my Tanfoglio witness recoil spring is STIFF! another pound and it would take vice grips to rack the slide

I am quite fond of my 10mm match elite. It eats anything I have fed it and has never malfunctioned. No cracked slide or frame. It is one of the most accurate pistols I have. You know, one of the ones where everything just comes together and it just shoots and hits everything you aim it at. It is not weather proof though so be careful with that, keep it well oiled and dry and clean if you get that particular model. highly recommended.
