I am seeking people who own EAA Witness or CZ series guns to speak up on their compatibility. I believe that both are truly great guns coming from amazing manufacturers. The EAA being able to scale into various calibers, and the CZ having the legacy.

Do their magazines interchange at all?

I have read it is based on EAA generation and frame size yes?
I have heard IWI Jericho magazines work for the EAA?

Would a CZ slide work on an EAA frame or visa versa?

What about a CZ barrel in an EAA slide of the same caliber or visa versa?

What about a longer 6" EAA barrel cut and threaded for a standard frame?

What about the Turkish SAR series guns? Do they share anything in common with either the EAA or the CZ75?

I know the EAA witness guns have their slide interchangeable between all their calibers, but are the CZ the same between 9/40 at least?

This isn't a "which is better?", it's more along the lines of "what do these share in common for parts?" type of question.

Despite what people say, tanfoglio, EAA, Jericho are not clones of the CZ design.
They are similar but very little parts swap over.

Tanfoglio does have a small and large frame, those magazines are different. A small frame can/maybe take CZ mags.

You should find a user who has both a CZ 75B and a recent Tanfoglio small frame (a Tanfoglio EAA Witness P would also work). Perhaps, as has already been said, magazines are interchangeable between these models. Perhaps the slide stop and some part of the trigger are interchangeable. The firing pin safety works in the opposite way between the two pistols so it is not interchangeable. Barrels, despite the similarity, I don't think are interchangeable.

Anything is possible. Magazines for the pistols you talk about, are all probably made by Mec-Gar. All of them are similar in design. You could contact Mec-Gar & ask, or find someone with the pistols you need to find out about & compare. Further, you could contact Cajun Gun Works, mavens of CZ & ask.

Thank you all!!
I ask a lot of thes because I look to know what/where can parts be shared or swapped. I see the magazine compatibility guide, and bookmarked it.

Threaded barrels & night sights don't really exist for the EAA so I was curious what would swap over from a CZ gun.

Edit;

I heard the CZ slide will fit on an EAA frame, whether or not it actually functions is a mystery.

As I said, it may be that the slides fit but the firing pin safeties work in a totally opposite way (push up for the CZ, release down for the Tanfoglio) so the pistols will not work.

Armscor also makes a Tanfoglio Witness derivative called the MAAP. I do know the mags interchange with my CZ 75 PCR but the barrel and slide lengths are different.

Just so you'll know, EAA does not import or distribute Tanfoglios anymore. Only IFG does which is based in TX.

Understood, I have to look closer at mine to see exactly what model it is but when I do I can get the right ones that will work. The link is super helpful!!

I'm going to use Europium for makeshift glow sights since it doesn't seem like there is a set of tritium that goes with it.
