A good ear seal below 32 & down to 20 degrees would be awesome.

Can you guys suggest an electronic muff whose ear baffles do not stiffen up in sub-freezing weather?

Hmmmmm?

If your head gets so cold it can't warm up the seals??

Probably time to go back home and survive to shoot another day!

I use old AO's and newer Dillon's with the cloth over-covers to keep them from sweating to my head in hot weather.

But haven't noticed any problem with seal against my head in cold weather either.

On the other hand, I usually wear a hooded parka over them when it's below freezing.

That's one I haven't thought of.

Are you saying they're stiff after being on your head 5 minutes or stiff when you pull them out of the bag?

If you keep them in the cab of a vehicle or inside a small cooler with a Hot Hands pack between uses on the range you might avoid the problem.

MSA Sordin Supreme Pro. The lowest temperature I've used them in is -20°F or so. Batteries gave up at that point but the muffs themselves were still soft and comfy.
