Like the title says, what's the best quick on and off holster these days for those "leave it in the car" situations.
I'll admit my ignorance. I don't know what that is. Do you have a link?judgedelta wrote,

I just leave the holsters on. As far as I know wearing an empty holster into a post office isn't violating the law. And, if you're able to conceal a firearm properly concealing an empty holster would be that much easier.
Thank ya. I used the basic design and look of the turn of the century '1900' Texas "Jockstrap" style holsters and put the modern pancake holster belt loops on the holster skirt and separated the holster body from the skirt. He is extremely pleased with it and I was very happy how it came out myself.^^^ OK, now that is just cool. ^^^
Nice bit of design and craftsmanship Sir.
+1, CBST or similar. It is a pain to remove your holster and handgun when I run into those rare situations where I'm surprised and need to secure my handguns in my vehicle. In those cases I simply take them out of the holsters and put them into the vehicle vault.
