A pic tamara posted (found here: http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=44519) got me thinking. Anyone have pics of their EDC? I do (minus the pistol, I'm a minor, and it's an airsoft).

Moderators, feel free to kick this over to handguns if you see fit, I don't think anyone's going to be carrying a rifle.

Left to right:

-Guess Watch (carried on wrist)

-Wallet (back right)

-Keyring with 2 keys and a swisskey, which opens to give you a blade, a serrated blade, a bottle opener, and a screwdriver (Front Right)

-Airsoft USP (Mexican style @ 6:00 when I do, just for kicks)

-Chinese-made knife I picked up in chinatown that I use as a beater (IWB @ 4:00 when in school or concealing, back right when not)

- CS Voyager (Front left)

-Minimaglight in belt pouch (@ 3:00 on belt)

S&W 696 .44 Special
Kershaw/Onion Boa
Skagen Titanium watch
Dr. Grip pen and little notepad.
Wallet.

That's it.

Oh, and keys to a 92 Subaru Legacy (that I'll trade to anyone in Utah for an old full sized, extended cab Ford 4X4 pickup truck that runs good regardless of year or cosmetic condition - as long as it runs good)

BluesBear, were you referring to the dangers of carrying a real-looking immitation firearm in San Fran, or to the danger of carrying at 6:00 due to potential for spinal injury?

No walnut bowl (as pictured; it's my pocket plunder bowl), but everything else gets carried, bidness daze.

Everything goes in pockets or belt loops, 'cept the Kimber at 4 and the Kel Tec.
[Um, uh, "Mexican carry" at 6:00 ]

Damn Andrew, that's a lot of stuff.

Of course I didn't include the Benelli in Chinese-American-carry at 1800 hrs.

Until the wheels of SLED bureaucracy finish grinding sometime around, oh, FEBRUARY...

Wallet
Keys
Cell phone
PDA
Leatherman Wave

Can't carry at work-no concealed weapons on military installations; Not there violent crime is exactly a problem there. But when I'm out and about, once the permit comes, Sig P229 in .40SW

Besides my wallet, watch, cellphone and keys (with an LED light attached), it's just my K9 and a Benchmade Stryker. If I need more than that, I'm completely confident I can improvise until I can get to the Jeep (where the good stuff is).
The amount of stuff some here carry everyday is incredible, but my mommy always told me keep pointless criticism to myself, so I'll just wink an' nod my head.... ;)

Though I do like the idea of BUBA (Back-Up Body Armor) for a quick change-out during a firefight and a spare wallet just in case one of them takes a bullet. :neener:
