I am unspeakably thankful that my home state is served by such progressive law enforcement professionals. Especially in the wake of so many devastating IED attacks by veterans recently, I'm glad they're taking steps to keep us safe. Um, any person with a basic understanding of chemistry and a few hours to kill on Youtube can build an IED. A friend of mine likes to make and launch model rockets on his hundred plus acre property. He has a nifty four hundred yard range launching transmitter (that's reusable) to prevent injury when he launches rockets. Any time he'd like to make and deploy an IED he could, but he won't and he's a right winger if there ever was one to the point some of the things that come out of his mouth disgust me at times.

IEDs are nothing new (McVeighs big hurrouh was an IED). They don't take any real specialized knowledge (maybe thirty or forty years ago) but they are passe. Most Americans (99%) are good people on any given day. And the ones that aren't, aren't typically deploying IEDs. And if they did, what the heck could we do to stop them?
