I'm curious to hear from folks on this board who have some martial arts/empty-hand experience.
Are you aware of MA styles and instructors who incorporate firearms usage into their training? I'm not talking about disarming techniques, but empty-hand techniques designed to supplement the self-defense repertoire of an armed citizen.
I came across something called "operational krav maga" while putzing around the 'Net and that got me thinking about this issue. I know a bit about krav maga, but most standard krav maga curricula focus on defense against an armed attacker.
I have a martial arts background, but none of the martial arts training that I have incorporates firearms. While I am capable of modifying what I have, it would be much better if I didn't try to re-invent the wheel, as such.
