The Young Conservatves of Texas (YCT) at the University of Texas at San Antonio will be holding out Empty Holster protest this morning!
This has kind of been my project for the last 2 weeks, so I am kind of invested in this. I believe all the arrangements have been made. I have done 2 radio interviews and 2 TV interviews over the last 2 days, and there will be more media there this morning. So I hope to have lots of links for you guys and gals by the end of the night.
We are REALLY laying it on thick. Our first order of busniess is to get the University to change it's student code of conduct to allow any student with a CHL to carry, rather than needing specific written permission.
Second, we want to change state law to allow carry on campuses, period. YCT across the state has the wherewithal, manpower and influence to change state law. We will need help though!
Can anyone jumpstart my networking here in Texas on this issue? Local NRA, TSRA, etc?
