Actually, some while back I checked out who was approx ''in the area'' and have a list of folks (somewhere!), tho not with email addy's. However, this forum does provide quite a good starting point, with addition of PM's as another option.

That gets me thinking, Chris....What about a springtime BIG THR event (Obviously not at the same range you guys were just at)....something for all of the central east coast? Could we get organized enough? Enough members to locally to host some travellers for the weekend at their houses perhaps to keep costs down?

I'm not a good organizer, but I'm a heck of a participant!

Haha Scott, me too - and there Sir is the rub!!! I would love to see this as a reality - trouble is there are so many factors to take into account.

The first and, I guess, most critical is - the venue. I wonder if there is something suitable sorta ''mid state'' ... such that it could pull in folks from east and West equally easily. Beyond that tho is, inevitably, a considerable burden of organization and on top of that - actually making a date and making it work. Inevitably there are always those who want to attend but in the end can't or don't.

If I know I could ''appropriate'' the range where I shoot IDPA - then that would be well useful ... a club set in 160 acres, with superb facilities - tho not the easiest to find perhaps. They tho pretty much have a full schedule mapped out all year. I will try and check on this next Weds when we have a pin shoot again ... just in case there might be an opening ... just to be sure.

Hey Corey - welcome dude! Darn - I can't call you names on here!!

You reckon we could fix something? if that was possible then it would be great - I am sure any folks who could attend would really enjoy the range if something possible at HSC. Hope for Wednesday yeah - weather permitting (OK - no comments LOL!)
