Enfield: How do I remove the follower?

I need to replace the spring in a No. 4 Mk1 magazine but I can't figure out how to remove the follower. Any help would be appreciated.

Nevermind. I just discovered that little tab is removeable.

Edit: Nope, that didn't help..... still can't figure it out.
