entry level rifled scoped 12ga shotgun recommendation

required by state regs for hunting in some parts of my state. looking for an entry level rifled 12 gauge, shotgun that can easily be scoped.

A remington 870 or mossberg 500 with a cantilevered scope mount barrel would be a good place to start. With that type of setup, the scope is mounted directly to the barrel. And they can be had in either rifled or smoothbore.
