I know many on the Forum are losing sleep over global warming.
Here is my list of how to save the planet by employing environment friendly firearm practices.
All are invited to add to the list.
1. Conserve on cases and hulls by shooting enough to make reloading worthwhile.
2. Conserve on lead and powder by using reduced recoil loads on tactical buckshot.
3. Minimize stray shots by practicing often.
4. Save gasoline by carpooling to the range.
5. Practice enough to ensure one shot kills during deer season.
6. Conserve landfill space by regrinding vintage Jostam pads onto your guns.
7. Lower your carbon footprint and conserve trees or oil by using genuine elephant ivory grips.
8. Reduce oil used for transportation by buying American guns.
9. Protect old growth wood by carefully finishing your walnut stocks.
10. Extend the life of your guns by proper use of non-degradeable synthetic lubricants.
If enough of us follow these simple practices our world will be a better place.
