Hello people, I have a Bushnell Red Dot on my Mark III for shooting steel, but I’m having a real problem acquiring the dot. I’m thinking about purchasing an EOTech XPS2-0 to replace it.

Is anybody here using one of these on a pistol or revolver?

Most important, when the buzzer goes off, will I have the same problem acquiring the dot?

You will see better, absolutely, but the package will get awfully heavy. I presume you mean a Ruger MKIII.

I run one of these on my Beretta Cx4 Storm 9mm for competition. But it is heavy.

My fighting guns all use Aimpoints, or ACOG's.

Primary HD is a FNH SCAR 16 MKs (L) with an Aimpoint T-1 in a Larue quick release mount. Very light set up. And of course it's an Aimpoint so it's left on 24/7.

Good luck.

Fred

Thanks to both of you. I put a Tac-Sol upper on the Mark III and that reduce the weight by almost 17 oz. I had the 6" heavy fluted barrel. The XPS2-0 weighs 8 oz., so it won't be too bad.
