I just received an Erma KGP 69 .22 pistol from an old neighbor. It is in very nice condition, he said he's only put a couple of hundred rounds through it since he bought it brand new.
Does anyone know if I can shoot high velocity .22 ammo out of it or am I going to have to find some standard velocity ammo?
Unfortunately all I can get in my area is high velocity and I would hate to ruin the beautiful little Erma.
TIA

I would stick to standard velocity if possible. If not, use regular high speed 40 grain bullet, not the super hot stuff.

And BTW, those guns generally will work OK if shot; I strongly suggest you resist any temptation to take it apart.

Mine jams EVERY time on the last two rounds in the mag.

HV is OK. It's decently accurate, and fun to shoot.

The previous owner already showed me how to disassemble the Erma. Plus I have the manual. Not really a big deal.
