Euro Mounts for an outside corner?

Mods - please move if this is not a suitable thread for this area of the forum.

I euro and mount my own deer and typically I use the handrail brackets at Lowes for around 5 bucks each, they do a great job.

My latest buck is a little funky and is quite atypical. His left antler goes back and if I were to use my normal method it would clash with the wall. I would like to mount him on an outside corner, that way he would not hit the wall and you would 'see more of him'. I did see one product on Etsy but is did not look that 'finished' if that makes sense.

Has anyone got a recommendation for a corner skull hook, or even better a DIY option?

A friend of mine did a table top Euro Mount with a unique rack a few years ago.
Something that may work if wall space is limited or a strange shaped rack.

I wouldn't think you'd need anything special. Whatever mounting hardware you use can be attached to the outside of the corner.

Nice rack though. I have a bear skull done that way that stays on a shelf. At this point any other game that I kill will get the euro mount treatment. Unless it happens to be a new world record or something. Taxidermy has gotten too expensive for me.

That was the sort of look I was wanting, mounted right on the corner. I think for 15 bucks I will order it and give it a shot.

Go to Taxidermy Supplier web sites. They have all kinds of mounting brackets for sale

These work well. You can change angles, turn them etc.They hold the skull out from the wall a good bit so you shouldn’t have any interference.

I would just fire up my table saw and use the rip fence to cut an inside corner out of a birch log and lag the skull right onto the wood.

Can't add anything to your search for a mount, but that is a pretty cool looking deer. I like unusual.
