One time on the shooting range a ricochet came back and hit me in the shin. I looked down to see the bullet still spinning on the floor. Just put a small bruise on my shin. I like to point to people anecdotal evidence of course proves I am bullet proof!

In the groin by a Chinese made mosin nugant.
ive been shot 1 time i was 18 at the time and it was a 22lr into my left foot. i was walkin back to my house with a friend and i happened 2 ask him is ur gun empty he said yeah and pulled the trigger it wasnt empty and i caught one in the foot
ive bn stabbed once and slashed with a tape gun once the stab only needed 4 or 5 stitches getn slashed with the tape gun led to 17 stitches

I actually shot myself once. Was about 12 or 13 and walked out on the porch with a 22 rifle. Was looking for a bird or something to blast when I noticed my bicycle parked there.
seems like I could not stand it till I shot the frame to see if it would go through it . Didn't bounced off and a piece of the lead hit me in the shin. Pulled out my pocket knife and pulled it out. Didn't hurt to bad , but it was just a small piece of lead.
About the same time I was ringing some 410 16 20 and 12 gauge shells to shoot like slugs. I noticed a hole in the porch the shell would just fit in . So being the courious sort , I jammed it in there and smacked the primer with a nail and hammer. Never did that again , the primer flew back and at first I thought it had took a finger or 2 with it . Don't remember if the powder was still in the shell or not , but it sure hurt.

Once I took 3 rounds in the butt from another hunter while looking for dove. Was an 11/87 20 gauge that thought it was full auto. I think there was 40 pellets of 8 in my right cheek dont remember it hurting then but sitting strait werent happening for a while.

No I've never been shot.
My brother spent a few days in the hospital after he took a pellet from an air rifle in the eye. His friend shot him from outside the window. If it was 1mm into the colored part he would have been blind, but it hit him in the white.
The guy's father broke the air rifle over his son's head for it.

Twice while out Dove hunting. Nothing penetrated the skin but I was "a little upset" to put it nicely...

I posted this a couple weeks ago somewhere, but I was teaching a girlfriend of mine to shoot, and there was an old tractor tire under the brushpile we were shooting into. She pinged one off of that, it came back and went through the leg of my jeans and into my shin. It stung, but I didn't say anything, trying to be Macho Man. (I didn't want her to feel bad, even if it was an accident.) After I got home (she was still with me) I went into the bathroom and dug it out with a screwdriver. THAT hurt. A lot. But when she learned what had happened, she got me drunk and made me forget about it.........it was almost worth doing again!

A little peppering birdshot blast, thankfully, when we were out of effective range. Being young, and in the wrong place at the wrong time. I was very lucky - just a few red marks barely breaking the skin. Still, it is scary to hear cussing and then a shotgun boom behind you when you're running as fast as you can.

.38 Special into my right thigh from contact distance, lodged behind my right knee. Didn't hurt at all and I walked to the door to let the medics in. Also had to dig a piece of bullet jacket out of my left middle finger 2 YEARS after the ricochet hit me while shooting IPSC.

Once when shooting an old ruger single action that has the half cock i pulled the hammer back so i could let it down. As i lowered the hammer i also lowered the gun beside my leg.
My thumb slipped off the hammer and the gun fired. It went right beside my calf and burned my leg. The bullet missed me but cut a groove through the side of my tennis shoe.
If i had been wearing long pants they might have got holed.
