Ever bought the same gun twice?

I never did, until two days ago. I traded off a Glock 26 a few years ago and missed it ever since. I picked up a new 3rd. gen. while I can still get one. I have my little Glock back! :)

I plan to. My wife and I both love shooting .45 ACP and we both have our eyes on getting a SIG 1911. Odds are good that I'd get two consecutive S/N's on layaway for after Christmas.

Does that count? :)

Over the years I have done that frequently, primarily with S&W Model 10's, Browning Hi-Powers, and Colt Governments and Combat Commanders.

I have. I have bought 3 Sig P220s in 45ACP. Rock solid GERMAN, FOLDED SLIDE types. One two tone was a gift for my son's 21st Birthday. Two for me.

I did. I bought a no-dash Model 67 with a tapered barrel for about $300 and sold it like a jerk when I was broke. I later tried to buy it back but the guy had already sold it to his brother who, in turn, traded it for a Jennings POS. When I heard that, I almost barfed.

I bought a 67-1 (also with a tapered barrel) to replace it but it wasn't as slick, action-wise. Two weeks later, it turns out that it somehow went back to the brother and then back to my friend, who then sold it back to me. I then sold off the 67-1 and was very happy again.

This particualar 67 has the sweetest trigger pull; it's my nicest shooting revolver. I shoot it even better than I did my Model 14-4 with the target trigger and hammer so I sold that off, too.

Are you kidding? I can't even begin to count the number of times I've owned a gun I already once owned. I used to work part-time in a LGS so I got some killer good deals. I couldn't keep everything and since I'm one of those people who, as a kid, had to take everything apart to see what made it tick, I've been through a metric ton of guns over the years.

Since getting married though, things have slowed down a lot for me. I still play around a little, but not nearly as much as I once did. I've got other priorities now (retirement for example). But yeah, there's a whole mess of guns I'd love to get back (and might).

The most recent, I've owned a Marlin 336 3 or 4 times now. It's been back and forth between me and a relative more times than I care to remember.

I guess my big regret is probably a really, really nice Norinco M-14 I bought and then sold. Shoulda kept that one!

Not really bought it twice. I had an old Fox 16ga SXS that i bought back in the mid 60's. It was stolen in 1979. In Maine. I had placed a small card rolled up inside of the stock, with my phone number on it. Make a long story short. Five years ago i got a phone call for a person. He had called the number which happened to be my moms home phone number. She gave him my phone number here in Alaska. He had gotten the gun from a dealer (ffl) in another state. He sold it back to me (in mint) condition. Whom ever had it took good care of it.

Yep ;)

Not yet, but I am still young. I have recently let go of a couple that will most likely find their way back into my life. Funny, the PF9 is one of them.

If you mean the exact same gun. I can't prove it, but I believe I did buy the same Dan Wesson 22 revolver twice. I had one years ago, traded it off, then bought another one that I believe was the same one. I'd lost my old records so I can't prove it, but some of the wear on the grip and a flaw in the finish looked familiar.

But if you just mean the same type gun, oh sure. I've done that a lot. S&W revolvers & Model 39 semi's, Colt 1911's, Ruger 10/22's, Single-Six's and standard 22 auto's, Marlin 336's in 30/30, and who knows what else.

I'm sure I'll do it agin.

I bought my first firearm in 1976, a Ruger 10/22.

It got stolen from my storage unit in '78 while I was dep[loyed. I got around to replacing it in ought something.

I already posted at #8 but just remembered another one!

Bought a S&W 637 from my bro. Later gave it back to him for wedding present. He gave it back as a xmas present. I'm glad I got it back, I really like this thing! *wearing it now*

Just twice?
There are now two Enfield #5s ("Jungle C."), three Enfield #4s.

Am now searching for a second, really nice Spanish FR8. Highly prefer FTF: in person.
Will then save for a second CMP (only), Service Grade Garand.
