Ever get burnt out?

Speed, accuracy, fun, challenging, different, sport, varmit elimination. Too many different aspects to shooting for me to get completely burned out.

Change targets, keep honing accuracy. Like others have said, take a break. You'll find it gives you
perspective.

I had a near miss with a Colt Walker (its a long story) a while back and it scared the hell out of me. I didn't touch a gun for a couple of months and a BP one for longer. It took me 6 months to shoot my other BP pistol.
(I sold the Walker, it was just too damn big and heavy.)

I haven't been shooting much the last couple of years.
My old main range has gotten too hazardous, filled with undisciplined "guests" that run around waving guns.
I'm arranging to use a local Police training range for outdoor shooting and a gun dealer's indoor range for short-range pistols and archery.
Then I'll get back in practice.

Yes. After a break I got over it. I thinned the collection down considerably to guns that were more useful vs ones I just “wanted”.
