I traded my Churchill Highlander 7mm mag for a NIB glassbead blast cabinet and sprayer. I later traded a Weatherby Vangard 300 wby mag for the Highlander back.
I traded a Mossberg Chuckster (rifle 22 WMR) even for my very first custom knife. In hindsight, the mag was a wim at a gunshow, but so was the knife. Still have the knife.
Traded an old Ward's Western Field 12 guage shotgun for a lawn mower once upon a time. It's been at least 20 years and three states away, so I'm pretty sure the Statute of Limitations no longer applies.
I'm pretty sure he still has it, so I could trade back if necessary to keep us both legal.
Trading guns for non-guns, creates a rip in the Man-time continuum. Once that has been done, it is very difficult to close, especially if a significant other discovers this tear.
Traded a Cherry's Yugo SKS mint ( i never fired it or cleaned it{ just the cosmoline on the outside } ) for a brand new WII and a couple games ( when WII's were hot and going for $250+ ) . Still use the WII Daily LOL ! . Got a Allen's Armory K-31 I never fired either ( no tag under the stock ) I am going to sell to get some unmonitored ( By the Boss/Wife as it kills the surprise ) cash to purchase My wife a Kindle Fire for a suprise X-mas gift..........WVleo
I traded an old beat up Mossberg 590 12ga for a new laptop for the wife. Still have the wife, laptop is going strong. I think the guy said the 590 crapped out on him a year latter.
Back in 1972 i tried to trade a Remington 700 for the wife. He would not give the gun to me, and would not take my wife.
I traded a Marlin 80 that needed a little TLC plus a roll of fence and some firewood for a load of garden soil delivered and some grass fed beef steaks. I think we both thought we scored a deal.
