A fellow member paid it forward with 75 grain eldms and they will be used for the cause... results will be in a bolt rifle due to listed oal.... I can test them in lapua, Hornady or RP. Due to the very nature of the type of bullet I'm also pondering book oal or .020 of the lands....

I have a box of those bullets to try out. I got them from someone on the B,S,T forum, several years ago, before I realized the reload data on them. But I still have to build a solid lower to match the 24" 1:8 twist bull barrel.

Yea... I've got about 9# of H335 to use up, which will be simple enough... 2500 rounds of 5.56mm should take care of it!

So far, the 69 gr. RMRs show promising results with H335. I'm about to crack open a fresh 8# jug of H335. It's usually not much over 80 degrees here. So temperature sensitivity shouldn't be a problem.

They won't play at all using listed oal in the book in a semi platform... the 75hpbt does but the ojive is much longer on the eldm. I've never herd great praises of the 75hpbt by anyone or in any testing. Their 68 by comparison was much better. They were so bad my buddy Jimmy gave me 150 of them and he never gives away anything. I expect the eldm to act much more like the 80eldms I have.

Good point. I haven't tried to see where they touch the leade yet.
