I had an 85UL about six or eight years ago. I replaced the boot grip with a Hogue and it shot well. I could actually shoot it better than the S&W model 60-9 I had. Once I got a trigger job on the 60-9, they were about equal. The 85UL carried pretty well. I ended up trading the 85UL as part of a deal for a beater S&W 19-4.
