Have always wanted a Ruger No.1 International in 7x57 Mauser. Don't know why for sure...I just do.
I can't say that I've "always" wanted one, but I want one now...Have always wanted a Ruger No.1 International in 7x57 Mauser. Don't know why for sure...I just do.
Shanghai McCoy
I like the Mannlicher full stock look to begin with; very clean and stylish. As to the 7x57 chambering, I guess it's more of a European kind of thing. Like I said, I can't explain it (haven't hunted in years anyways), but I sure would like one!
I have had two. one in 7mag, one rsi in 7 mauser. the 7 mag was a great gun. the rsi was great till I shot it. very whippy and no accuracy.
I suspect that those that have them in 243 love them so much they don't sell them!Might be helpful to check out the Ruger Forum(s) for info on your RSI. I don't know anything about low volume production on any of the Ruger's. It seems like there are a bewildering number of small runs of calibers in Number One's.
The #1 is one of the few mannlicher stocked rifles I really like.
The other is the m77
