I live in the UK. I am trying to sell my Winchester 9422M (22WMR) to raise funds for a 30-06. It's a very nice rifle but I find I never use it because I can't reload for it.

I'd like to offer it to US buyers but am not sure on the restrictions or paper work involved. Is it realistic? I know it's not realistic to export from the US, but would it be easy if someone wanted it?

Cannot be done for anything approaching a reasonable price. If it were a presentation grade gun, then it's value justifies the added expense. You could try to sell it to a US military or US DoD civilian, since they can bring firearms acquired in the EU zone back to the US without an ATF importation permit.

List is as such - need to sell to US Service person or Consular staff, etc. Can you sell to other Commonwealth countries like Canada or Australia?
