I was sitting around today and realized I haven't taken an updated family portrait in a while. So I pulled everybody out the safe and took one. I figure some of you may be in the same situation so here is your chance to pull them out. Not to mention I like looking at everybodies lead slingers.

what is the bolt action rifle at the top of the family tree? ...sure is one nice lookin rifle

nice collection by the way

The bolt gun is a Remington 770 that I just got last month and for $342.00+ tax at Wally world and it shoots sub 1.25" MOA you can't beat it. The one I grab when SHTF is my Sig P220. I have kids and it's the only one I keep loaded. Thanks for the replies.

The two shotguns are both Mossberg the anti aircraft (Ducks) is a 835 and the street howitzer is a 500 converted to a 590 with bayonet lug, ATI collapsable pistol grip, Surefire forend, ATI heat shield with Ghost Rings sights and ATN Ultra sight. The flash light won't fit because of the Bayonet lug DUH! I didn't have the Bayonet lug when I got the forend.

Nice collection you got.

Since I'm curious and no one has asked yet...what are the AKs. Only thing I can tell is one is a 47 and the other is a 74. I do like the 74 though, btw.

this is what I had before I gifted them to my Norwegian distant cousin whom I'm not related to because I'm adopted and disowned from the family. Strengely, I forgot which state he moved to after I gave them to him. He used to take them on boat trips and shoot buoys with them. I hope he got them off the boat before it sank when he hit that rock:

The AK's are kits that I mostly built myself. The 74 is from a Bulgarian virgin kit it has a Armory USA reciever they are top notch from my experience. The 47 started life as a Romanian but when it was demilled some yahoo drilled into the barrel while taking out the rivets. So it got a new Polish barrel. It also has a Mako M4 buttstock adapter (NOT A PLASTIC TAPCO) It's real M4 stuff and aligns the stock and bore correctly. It also has a SAW pistol grip (NOT TAPCO) a real SAW grip out of a buddies SAW parts kit. I had to drill it to fit but it works and is very comfortable. The reciever is a Elk River Tool and Die and also excellent from my experience.

My Bulgarian Makarov and Glock 20 didn't make it into the pic. I had to retake the pic to add them in, only to find out that upon trying to upload to the comp the file on the SD card was corrupt :cuss:.

iamkris - thanks. Took me a while to find something that would have an old school look to it. I tried the burlap, but it doesn't last long and once it's cut it just falls apart. I had an old pair of coveralls laying that was worn out and too small for me and had been sun bleached. I cut it up and stripped the insulating material from the inside and used the leg and arm sections for the rifle wrap and used scrap material for the scope. To hold it all in place I just used the twine used to hold the wax paper around the twenty round packs of surplus 54R. Used the twine from about 10 packs and tied them all together. Didn't take me too long to do, turned out pretty good though.
