Fastest way to unload an AR magazine

I pity all the poor fools that have to empty out all those 30 rounders, either by automated ammo retrieval or the inert conversion method. Being from commie-land, we only have to unload 10 at the most from our MSR, making our jobs easier. Isn't government so thoughtful.
I feel the pain :(

I was gonna go all Troy Landry and shout, "Choot 'em!"

But several folks beat me to it

Very interesting method and thanks for the video. I use a UPLULA for loading the mags, and it is pretty decent at unloading as well, but not nearly as fast as your method. Got to try this tomorrow! I am always unloading mags it seems when I get ready for a range trip. I need more empty mags to load up my test batches of handloads, or am doing different type of shooting and need more mags for ammo different than what is in them. Or, Maybe I should break down and get a new ammo box/crate to carry more mags to the range and dip into my mag reserve so I have plenty of mags for all range purposes handy! But I still like this technique!

All my mags have Magpul no-tilt followers so I'll have to see if this works with them.

I use a Magula (great product by the way) to load 'em. It'll unload them even faster than in the video, but as others have stated, once they're loaded the only way they get unloaded is by shooting them.
