Fastfire II adjustment

I recently purchased a Fastfire II to replace a 25+year old aimpoint. I like the fact that it is small and light. However, what I did not realize till I mounted the unit is the intensity of the dot is not adjustable manually. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

wow, 25 yr old aimpoint!!

as you say, it's not manually adjustable. it automatically adjusts though. call burris i guess if it's not bright enough for you

Yeah, I have two of those aimpoints and they work just fine still today. Although they had about a 17 year vacation before being put back to work. No, the dot is plenty bright. I want to dim it down.

i saw some older aimpoints (15 yrs i think) at the last gun show i went to. pretty interesting tech at the time
