Mine both happen to be Ruger. A stainless Competition Target MKII w/Simmons scope & a recently purchased MKIII 22/45 blued short slab-sidded barrel w/fixed sights. Have tried Buckmarks, Sig Mosquito, S&W's, & most recently a Walther. Their owners like them. I found them all to feed reliably and fairly accurate. That said. . .what models do you folks like to shoot?

I own four Colt Woodsman and a S&W Model 41.

Also a Colt Frontier Scout and two S&W .22 revolvers.

All are accurate to varying degrees, and all are 101% reliable.

I had a TEC-22 a long time ago that was a lot of fun. Not super reliable, but plenty accurate (surprising for as cheaply designed as they are) and had these enormous sights that were really easy to pick up. They look dumb (machine-pistol-ish) but are actually a lot of fun.

Fond of my Buckmark. Because it is the only one I have got.

Ruger Mark series .22s, been shooting them since the 60's and never a single glitch. Only negative is you just about need an engineering degree to disassemble/reassemble one.

beretta neos u22...

just put another 250 rds through it yesterday without any issues. It gobbles up Federal.

Its a toss up for me between the Smith & Wesson model 41 ( I have two of them) and the Ruger MKII Bull barrel (I have two of them as well). My Rugers are highly modified. Both are Clark conversions...Walther barrels, Bo-Mar sights, Clark trigger adjustable for take up and over travel (triggers brake like glass at a shade under two pounds), over size hammer bushings, one pistol has an integral muzzle break and who knows what else Clark does to them. Any one of the four will shoot dime sized groups at 25 yards.

My dad has an old Mk I that needs a lot of work, I'm trying to talk him into having a slab-side bull-barrel put on it. He also has a Woodsman that seems to be the family favorite. The one I have been burning up is my Ciener 1911 conversion kit. Gone through a lot of minimags lately.

As an old bullseye shooter I have and like my S&W 41 .22lr
I also have a Colt Woodsman I carry when hunting upland game.
A S&W Mod 17 is carried when snow shoeing or cross country skiing. Hope to see a coyote.

My Ruger Mk II is my favorite. It shoots all kinds of ammo with nary a jam and it does so with great accuracy. My Walther P22 is nice, but since it is only reliable with Mini-mags and Stingers it limits the gun's usefullness.

Ruger Mark II SS 5-1/2" Bull.

I've already worn it out once and had to send it back to Ruger for parts replacement / refurbishment (~100,000+ rounds. No joke...)
