I've always wondered why folks would shoot it and ask who did the trigger job. Not to long ago I ordered a reduced power spring kit for it - for the heck of it since I was ordering a bunch of other springs - and the dern thing was larger and significantly increased the trigger pull. Switched it right back out.
One of these days I'll put it back in and do some measuring and comparing.
I'm still confused, but for a different reason. I bought the gun NIB, so it's the factory spring in it.
What?? You hadda pass up a 4" Registered Magnum ?? Wow, and I felt bad for having to choose between a 3" or 4" M24 (picked the 4").... Well, the best cure for that is to go shoot your 6 1/2" M27 .... Should bring smiles and cures warts and the common cold too.
I voted for the Service Six, but only because the Speed Six was not an option. I really like S&W revolvers, and had a very tough time with this poll, as the K-frames and L-frames are also great choices, especially in stainless. But I have a 4-inch stainless Speed Six that is a treasure, and thus my vote for its square-butted brother, the Police Service Six. I do prefer rounded backstraps on a revolver, regardless of make.
