Those gorgeous guns DO beat the hell out of the tactical crap that seems so prevalent nowadays. Too bad here and TFL won't segregate the groups like pistols are........oh well

But oneounceload, wouldn't you miss the "Saiga 12 makes a great Skeet gun!" threads?

JohnBT, those are some nice guns.

I'm feeling more motivated to try to boost my income, now...:) It'd take a big boost, though...

There comes a time in every man's life, be he rich or poor, when thinking about having that single malt when he gets home doesn't mean he's down to his last Steel Reserve...:D

A big, big boost, but I'm rich, I'm drinking a Red Stripe.

"When Jamaica gained independence from Britain in 1962, a columnist for The Daily Gleaner wrote "the real date of independence should have been 1928, when we established our self respect and self confidence through the production of a beer far beyond the capacity of mere Colonial dependants." "

Thanks to JohnBT for those pics......there's just something about that photographic quality of a Bulino engraving that beats the hell out of anything black and plastic...

THANKS for the hope that art is still alive !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Colt Defender Mk I (check em out. http://tml.travellercentral.com/hillberg/index.html)

8 barrel, 20 gauge shotgun designed by Robert Hillberg.

I have a Zabala SxS 10 gauge coachgun (dual trigger, auto cocking) that I really like, I just need some firing pins for it which is damn near impossible since there are NO parts for them. Luckily the thing weighs 15lbs with a 18.25" barrel to absorb some of the recoil. I can't imagine what it'd weigh with the original 32" barrel on it.

I don't have any fancy shotguns, but my favorite looking one is easily my Winchester 1300 with a 22" iron-sight bore-barrel that lives behind the rear seat of my plush-and-cozy daily driver F250 crewcab. Rescued from a pawn shop for cheap, it's in outstanding cosmetic condition, and, IMO, beautiful.

FN TPS. USAS 12, or Tromix Saiga. Not in that order.

Many people dont know how to properly drive it. With a good launch mine does 0-60 in under 5 seconds easily but like you said, 400 ft/lbs helps :p. A stock STi does it somewhere around 4.7 seconds IIRC and thats having to shift into 3rd to get there. A WRX's longer geared 5 speed is usually faster because of the less shifting but they are far far weaker. My tuners 11.3 sec 550+ HP road racer is still on the stock STi 6 speed. Not bad for a two and a half liter 4 banger.

The new 09 WRX with its bumped up power does it in 5 seconds flat and the 1320 in 13.8 sec stock.

The old DSMs when properly built are beasts. Very stout motors. But after the Evo came to the US they kinda stopped making fast Eclipse's.

My personal favorite is the AA-12. It is so clean looking, so purposeful (especially with drum mag), although the sights are.....unusual looking. My Saiga will cycle much faster, but I have to absorb more recoil than the shotgun does.

I have to say, I am not a wood guy, but I have seen some beautiful shotguns in this thread - I will have to travel that road soon....
