....there are .22's, and then there are 52's...(Winchester of course)...perfection in design....

Winchester Model 02 - 22; Mfr'd 1903/patented 1889.

Short, Long, Extra Long. Single shot; bolt; fixed iron.

No cans, but a lot squirrels within 50 yds.

Shoots better'n me.

Rifle - toss up between Marlin Model 60 and AR-7, with AR-7 slightly in the lead.

Handgun - I own just one, a Lorcin, which is a POS, but I suppose since it's my only .22 handgun, it wins by default. Man, I've got to get a new .22. Actually leaning towards a P22 after shooting Darrins last weekend.

Pappy John,

Since it was my first gun I cleaned it religiously hundreds of times.

I disassembled it reassembled it until I could almost do it with my eyes closed.

I've probably worn it much more by improper maintenance than firing it,
so now I use a rag with some hoppes just to keep the sweat off of it.

Browning Buckmark Target 7-1/2 " and AR15 with .22 conversion. Hard decision but think the conversion on the AR is the winner in the just plain fun category for me.

Like playing with a friend's Henry lever too.
