Ruger has a lot of models of its Mark series .22lr. I know they have a Mark I, II, and III .I know they have a standard, target, hunter, 22/45 and you can get bull barrels, fluted barrels, ect.

What is you favorite and why? Don't be shy with pics either:D

Just bought a Ruger MK3 Target model. Would have prefered not to have all of the infamous "lawyer" features but I'll get over it. Mine's in stock condition so nothing too interesting here.

Here's a pic:

I have a MK.II two-tone model that was produced in limited number by the factory over 20 years ago. It's a Model MK512 with a blued bull barreled receiver and a brightly polished stainless steel grip frame. It's incredibly accurate with both CCI MiniMags and Wolf Match Target ammo.

Had this one for Looong time. KMK-514, haven't seen too many of these. I remember reading somewhere that only a couple thousand were made with this barrel configuration (?).

5 1/4" Tapered bull barrel. Balances perfectly and crazy accurate even after ~20k rounds.

I bought a mark III a few months back.Love it.Shoots gret with no problems.I have heard that the mark II's are "better" but i really cant tell and wouldnt part with mine anyways.

I have 3 MK II Targets and a MK I Target. My favorite shooter is the 10" SS. I think the 10" guns are more accurate than your average 10/22.

Beretta Jaguar was mentioned by Larry Vickers on one of his shows as a great semi-auto .22lr. There's also an Israeli Mossad back-story on it.

The pre-Mk.I standard is the only one I have experience with.

With that red dot it is I can easily keep it in 2"-3" at 25 yards. It and my Security Six are the most accurate handguns I have shot

I've probably shown this half a dozen times, but ask and you shall receive.......

Standard from '72. Maybe 200 rds through it. Maybe.

I like the 22/45 because it's the closest to dad old High Stanard Military that I grew up learning on and blasting away tin cans with. I don't have one but will someday, hope its as good as dad's old High Stanard...

I have a good selection of different 22lr pistols including a sig p220 SAO, 2 beretta bobcats, a ruger bearcat revolver, and a ruger 22/45 mkIII.

The 22/45 is my favorite by far. Its the most reliable of the bunch, most accurate, most fun to shoot. Dis assembly is bothersome but can be mastered. I love that the screw on picatinny rail was included. It is wonderfully accurate with the stock adjustable sights but I see a burris fastfire II in its future.

Ruger Standard model .22LR bought circa 1965. Cost all of $36, flawless performance, cheap to shoot, fun to shoot, no recoil to speak of, very accurate, great gun for introducing others to pistol shooting, and great for training.

A Mark III, 5.5-6.5" Fluted Stainless is my next gun purchase. Just have to handle one locally first. I don't want to order it without handling it first. Must resist urge, patience, patience........

I like all the Rugers. They are good guns and fun to target shoot with.
I am not a hunter just target shoot. I love the Ruger Mark I, II, and III.
They are made well and everyone loves theirs.
Look up the reviews. They are perfectly balanced.

MKII with 5.5 heavy barrel. With a Clark trigger and Volquartsen sear this combo makes the Ruger a sweet shooting piece with good ammo.

Mk III 22/45 w/ factory threaded barrel, weaver rail, and Bushnell TRS-25. This target was the third mag I ever put through the gun, shot offhand at 25 yards.

It should make a fine suppressor host if I ever get around to setting up a trust.
