Yep they're sweet, got that one from my uncle, dad thinks it might be the one he got when he got out of the Air Force, that he gave to my uncle. Not sure either way it's in excellent condition for a 90 year old.mavracer, wow old school Colt 1903, nice!
Finding a happy medium for a gun that you carry every day is an interesting dilemma.lol this thread may inspire me to get something. I generally spend funds toward full size handguns and more toward rifles than handguns. So I do have a old Beretta 1934 .380 from my grand dad I may enter just for the sake but the trigger is sooooo heavy the score is going to be bad it is just a unfriendly gun to shoot and I can't believe it was a actual side arm of a military the Italian military.. I do have a Makarov also but it shoots 4 o'clock on the bulls so unless I can adjust the sights it would be a stellar score either.
You do realize that "best compromise" is a oxymoron lolFinding a happy medium for a gun that you carry every day is an interesting dilemma.
If you find the perfect blend of power, accuracy and concealability......let me know. I want one.

I'm curious.....Four more weeks to go before this challenge ends, next challenge though I think I will make it 4 weeks instead of 8 weeks. Figuired with winter I'd give some people not fortunate to live in the great state of Florida extra time for this one lol.
Ugh. Get better. I only had THE FLU once but I could barely lift my head off my feverish pillow for 4 days. It's no joke.cool, help is always welcome, I have the flu right now so not in clearest sate of mind and some targets when clustered can get hard to count.
I'm curious.....
What is the next challenge?
Duty/service guns?
Hunting guns?
Uhhhhhhh...
Single actions?
Shall I go on?
I doesn't mattert that much, Lionking. In fact, I'd rather shoot in single digits than in a Florida down pour. I will say that white paper and white snow are a challenge!Four more weeks to go before this challenge ends, next challenge though I think I will make it 4 weeks instead of 8 weeks. BC17A that Remington as far as target shooting did pretty good had any problems with it? A month ago I almost bought a Remington RP full size 9mm because it was $299.00 at Rural King and I was "wow a full size 9mm for $300.00?" But then after searching info on it saw it had nothing but problems functioning so I passed on it. There is a youtube vid that shows the RP just failing after failing.
Well as a matter of fact my friend I just started a single action revolver challenge in the revolver section, although the B-16 25 YD target is the choice for that one and printing it will be more difficult to come out correct than buying

lionking, over at Taurus Armed we use to have a monthly challenge and they would vary the targets or the competition to keep it interesting. It was great fun until the person running the event had a change and couldn't do it any longer and the person tat took it over only continued for a couple months until I think they found out how much work it was.
Anyways here's a link to what they were doing if you are interested.

Thinking about a Pico from all the good reports here.
