Love mine! Bought it as something to hold me over until I could afford a Browning. Liked how it shot so well that I said heck with the Browning. Had it hard chromed and have been a happy camper since.

Who did your hard chrome? What did it cost if you don't mind?

It looks bead blasted, was that a request by you, or did it just come back that way?

Very nice look!

Mahovsky Metalife in western Pa. Very reasonable prices. He does the bead blast standard. He says high shine chrome is a pimp gun. Turn around time could be long or short because he does everything in batches. I know his prices went up a little, but still not bad. He upgraded his website, all the info you need is there. Was on it recently because I'm going to have a Ruger Service Six done soon.

Metalife has done work for me, wonderful work. I've a P5 Walther that they did for a prior owner, and it looks great as well.

And it lasts for ever with little care. Heck, I had a 10/22 that would rust more in our humid area than those two pistols. I just do a normal cleaning with Ballistol. And occasional wipe downs with same.

Another two thumbs up for Ron Mahovsky and Metalife! They did my Beretta Model 70S after I had problems with the original blued finish and Beretta's refinishing it. The gun still looks as good as the day I got it back from Metalife and that was over 30 years ago!

Every time I see that Beretta I'm jealous. More so due to the chrome. Every now and then I look for one. Always after you post that picture, of course! ;) Heck, I would settle for a beat up one as long as it functions.

Nice. I have always been impressed with the FEG Hi Power clones.

A sad story for you all. At the end of Operation Desert Storm, my unit was tasked to clear bunkers. We found crates full of brand new FEG Hi Power's and other foreign pistols and had to destroy them on the spot. I would have loved to bring one of them home but NOPE.

That's a bummer.

If you think my Beretta is nice you should see my brother's Browning Hi-Power that he had Metalifed; everyone use to ask him where he got the stainless Hi-Power at!

FEG Hi-Powers are pretty solid.

I got one a few years ago, and have had a lot of fun with it.

(Also have an Argentine Hi-Power clone. It's nice, too.)

A very nice assortment of H-Powers you've got there; I especially like the two tangent rear sight models.

The Turk HiPos got a nice write-up in the NRA magazines, and I've been keeping an eye open for one.
I've one of their 1911s, and it is a really great GI replica.
The Turks may be in trouble with us, politically, so it's hard to say what else may come in.
