B80448CB-C5BE-40BD-9D8B-A082C1521AF5.jpeg I purchased a used, but in very nice condition, FEG PJK-9HP 9mm pistol today at a local gun shop today for 5C Notes. It was imported by Kassnar imports out of Harrisburg Pennsylvania. You don’t see these on the used gun market as much as you used to. If you happen to know of any particular problems they had with this model, I sure would appreciate some heads up on it.
Thanks a lot for your help! 775FC2E2-9497-44D5-92AB-DF2B8F0D0D98.jpeg

Congratulations! I bought one about 10 years ago for $250 in excellent condition. Great pistol except for the very bad (heavy gritty) trigger but that can be made better. Never had a problem with it. Best wishes

I had one. The fit and finish was at least as good if not better than my Browning. It was more reliable with defensive rounds.

I found one problem so far with the pistol.
I cannot get the safety switch to lock the slide open when you are trying to disassemble the pistol. It is just shy of engaging the slot on the slide. Any ideas or comments are welcome!

Nice pistol. Yours has a slide release more in the 1911 style as opposed to the more typical HP slide release-this is an item that FEG added on some of these pistols. I like it.

other than the slide release, all other Belgian parts and springs should fit if you need them.

cool find!

Does the safety button engage correctly in the safety slot?

Those original-style safety buttons are notoriously difficult to operate well. Unless the little leg that goes in the slot is broken somehow, I would keep working with it. Maybe it gets stuck and needs a drop of oil to help get over the hump.

A friend of mine had one and except for a heavy and somewhat rough trigger pull, it was fine. His was the two tone model with a blued slide and brushed chromed frame. Overall fit and finish were very decent.
