Diane Feinstein is lying when she says she does not want all your guns. She is running around saying she only wants semi autos. Wake up folks its a tactic of divide and conquer where it comes to gun owners. Watch the video where her true intent was exposed back in '95, then call your Representative and both of your Senators and say no to any new attacks on our gun rights. That video is the one I've been looking for to point out that the goal all along has been confiscation.

That is an important tool for us to use in pointing out that her goal, and that of others like her, for the past 20 years is confiscation and not the compromises made to get the legislation through Congress.

The amazing thing is, "only" wanting semi-autos is like saying I "only" want gasoline powered cars or something. That's crazy, and what's even crazier is that they are lying to the vast majority of the public and getting them to think that semi-auto is "auto".

They pulled this nonsense back in '93-'94 as well, and it worked. Don't let it work this time. There is a younger generation of shooters today that may not remember what happened back then, but stuff like facebook and whatever else can be powerful tools used by this generation, and that wasn't available back then. Keep posting that stuff and calling out those lies!

Do you have a link to the "unedited" version of the first half of the interview. It would be nice to have proof/evidence she was addressing the question/issue we all infer from the splice of the two interviews.

As that clip stands it seems like pretty weak sauce to me.

The snippet is from the '95 60 Minutes AWB interview. We need that context to be well established in a clip so that we can demonstrate that this has been her plan for over 20 years.

what re-triggered the debates was Sandy Hook. I live not far from there and have friends in the area. following some discussions ( I've seen reports and live TV that conflict--saying this nicely) they did a bit of leg work and now they have doubts.

but this is about Fienstein lying and I'm about--they are all a pack of opportunistic ( even when they set the stage) liers.

Dianne Feinstein has supported every handgun ban promoted in San Francisco.

Ban on all handgun ownership in San Francisco.

Ban handgun sales in San Francisco.

I suspect in the video clip she was talking about the grandfathering under the 1994 AWB; if she had the votes, not only sales of new "assault weapons" would be banned, but she wanted to tell Mr and Mrs. America, turn them all in. She wanted no grandfathering under the 1994AWB. She has proposed no grandfathering under her AWB renewal bills.

One problem people willing to compromise need to understand is that "assault weapon" like "saturday night special" is a highly elastic term that once accepted starts expanding like an umberella.

Of course, the hypocrite had a handgun permit (one of only five in the entire city of San Francisco), and after her home was machinegunned by a left-wing terrorist group, she had armed guards. She has made a big deal that she got rid of her personal gun since then. But I don't trust her on that either.

She was referring to the confiscation of "assault weapons" not all firearms. The high road has no place for twisting anyone's words regardless of whether we agree with them. She made it clear in her current proposal that there would be no grandfathering. She has a concealed handgun permit and carries a revolver. Let's be factual and stay on target. Dianne Feinstein is a gun owner who wants to restrict certain types of guns. If you have any documented proof of her stating she seeks an outright ban and confiscation of all firearms I'd love to see it. Until then, we're shooting ourselves in the foot with this because it's taken out of context.
