The phrase "one the streets" is a crafty way to imply that the guns are in the possession of criminals being used in crimes. Heck, who is for that?
I don't want these guns on the streets either. Stored safely in the houses of law abiding citizens is much better. But liberals would deny the law abiding citizens access to these weapons so that the criminals can't have them. All this does is prevent the law abiding citizen to have access to these weapons, as the criminal, by nature, will not heed the law.
Liberals know this. Their real goal is to destroy individualism and self-reliance. It is precisely the law-abiding citizen that they intend to disarm, while citing the weapons use by criminals as their reason.
